About Giving to First Baptist Church (you should read this through at least once)
Giving is an act of worship! Your generosity helps our congregation bring the Gospel to our world! It’s also an act of trust – by giving, we allow God to take control of us and our resources. We believe in faith that he will ultimately provide for us. Donations to FBCM are used wisely to support the ministry of the church, and to touch the world through the support of missions.
Thank you for your faithfulness and support. Here are some ways you can give…
1. Use FAITHSTREET – FAITHSTREET is our online giving service. We encourage you to SET UP YOUR FREE ACCOUNT HERE (or you can give by Credit or Debit card without setting up an account). This service allows you to give one-time or recurring gifts instantly from your computer, smart phone or tablet. You can even set up TEXT GIVING (see below). There is a fee charged per gift (see below) when you use Faithstreet and the fee is significantly less if you connect it to your checking or savings account rather than using a credit/debit card, so please use it wisely. Faithstreet giving allows you to give to give a Tithe or Offering, or to other special funds as well. To set up your Faithstreet account or give a donation, click the “Give Online” button above.

TEXT GIVING can be set up for church offerings (but not to other funds) by texting the amount you want to give to the number 646-832-4848. Then enter the quickcode “fbcm” when prompted. For information on setting up text-giving CLICK HERE.

Note: if you give to pay for something (like a youth event) that is, as always, not considered tax-deductible.
2. Sunday Morning Offering – This is the “tried and true” method that many people will chose to use to give their regular ongoing gift to God. While other methods are certainly convenient, please don’t neglect the joy of giving your tithe or offering as part of your worship of God by placing it in the Collection Box. Offering envelopes are available help us give you an accurate report of your giving for tax purposes, etc.

4. Your Bank’s Online Bill Pay – Most banks offer online bill pay free of charge. This is a very good way to automate your giving. You can set up First Baptist Church as a recurring or one-time payee, and then submit your donation through your online bank account. (To view an example, CLICK HERE.)
5. Payroll Deduction from your Employer – Some employers can set up a regular deduction from your paycheck to go directly to FBCM. This is another free way to give electronically. This is a great way to give a regular ongoing gift.
