We want invite you to join us and experience God! Whether this is your first time to church or you’ve been in church your entire life we want to welcome you. Our desire is to connect you with the God who made you and others who are walking with Him.

What To Expect

Whether this is your first time inside a church building or you’ve been attending church for years – we want to make you feel comfortable.

When you come into the church for our services, you will be greeted by someone who will welcome you and help you find out where to go and help you with any information you’d like to know about the church. Casual dress is fine, but what you wear is up to you. We encourage people to come and seek God in the way they feel most comfortable. Our worship service is a time of singing (both modern and traditional music), prayer and a message from the Bible to encourage and challenge you.

For families, our nursery is available during our Sunday morning Sunday School (9:00am) and Sunday Worship (10:30) Service times. Infants and toddlers through age 3 are welcome. During the worship service, a children’s worship time is available for ages 4 through 2nd grade.

There is often an invitation at the end of the service – a time for people, as they are lead by God, to come and ask for prayer or make public decisions of faith. This is personal and we encourage each person to follow God’s leading during that time.

We want to help each person who comes to find Christ and deepen their spiritual life. Wherever you are, we pray that we can help you along that way! We aim to be "a great place for faith to grow!"

Note: during our worship service we take an offering. That offering is intended for regular members who call First Baptist home, and not for those who are visiting or seeking.

Worship

Worship is a core part of First Baptist's identity. Our Sunday morning worship is blended, using both very modern and traditional worship songs to bring glory and honor to God. We believe that our corporate worship time is an important time in the life of church, as we honor God and seek for His Spirit to move among us and also we rejoice in who He is and what He has done for us.

Our primary worship services are Sundays at 10:30 am and 6:00 pm.

There are several different groups that work together as part of our worship ministry: our worship teams (both adult and youth), adult choir, drama ministry, children’s choir, and our technical team.
